Sounds like ocular migraine without vision problems. I got it as well as classic migraine on the head. Sore my eyes throb. You should see a neurologist. He can give a true migraine medication if that is what they think it is. If you catch the migraine early enough, the drug is working, if not, the only thing that worked in my case is a narcotic pain killer. Of all the migraine medications out now, I find Relpax is best for me. This does not make me feel dizzy, such as Zomig, so I can drive and resume my normal activities.
